A charming little town and home to the National Park Visitors Centre (shared with the Library). Interesting selection of shops including: supermarket, Post Office, butchers, greengrocers, NatWest bank and shooting shop. Charming little gift shops and antique shop - all well worth an amble round - plus doctors, dentist and vets. Some pay & display parking in town centre, or down by bridge - huge vehicles, large caravans or trailers may struggle at peak times getting through the town as the road narrows in places. Great walks along the river.
"Well worth a visit. Park down by the river". TT - Glasgow

Huntscott House Stables, Huntscott, Wootton Courtenay, Nr Minehead Tel: 01643 841 272 "Fabulous riding for adults on ex-racehorses (although I understand David has given in to pressure to buy a coloured cob!). Will suit experienced riders who are happy to canter on fit horses. Breathtaking views - up to Dunkery Beacon. Family run, very safe, a bit difficult to find, so ring if in doubt. I thoroughly recommend"
