The winner of our 2009 prize draw is Mr. Ron Binmore from Crawley.  Our random draw was made at the beginning of January and everyone who had submitted a review to the site was automatically entered.  Ron gets to choose a holiday at any one of the site's recommended properties with The Real Visitor' Book paying £250 towards the cost of the break.

Ron and his wife, Jane, had enjoyed a 4 night break at Wild Cottage B&B on the Isle of Mull in October 2009.  He submitted a detailed review of their break and the memorable stay they had there, describing it as "probably the best B&B my wife and I have stayed in".  Being a keen photographer, Ron also sent some absolutely wonderful photos of Mull, which you can see with his review here.

Ron, who admitted that at first he thought our email advising him of his win was a scam, is delighted, saying "we are both over the moon".  Watch this space to find out where he and Jane intend spending their 'prize' holiday...

To celebrate our new look site we will be offering £250 towards a Great British break to one lucky reviewer who makes a recommendation during 2010.  The winner can choose to stay at any property on the site and we will pay £250 towards the cost.  Simply choose your destination and dates and we will forward the £250 contribution direct to the property owner - all you have to do is ENJOY!!

Competition Rules
1. Draw is open to anyone aged 18 years or over submitting a RELEVANT & USEFUL review to the site
2. If you cannot recommend a property please read 'can't recommend' on our front page.  You review will still count as an entry to the draw as long as it is deemed relevant and useful to the aims of the website.
3. Entries can be made online via the website www.therealvisitorsbook.co.uk or by filling in a paper questionnaire and posting it to The Real Visitors Book, 59, Woodside Road, Amersham HP6 6AA.  Both means of entry carry the same chance of winning.
4. There will be one winner drawn at random once the competition closes at midnight on 31st December.
5. The winner will be contacted by post and/or email during the next working week.
6. The winner may choose to book any break at any one of the properties listied on the Real Visitors Book website at the time of the draw.  All booking arrangements are made direct by the winner with the property owner and your contract is made with them.  No contract is made between any entrant and The Real Visitors Book
7. Please advise The Real Visitors' Book immediately you have made your choice and we will arrange payment direct to the property owner of £250 towards the cost of your break.  All or any additional expenses incurred are to be met by the prize winner.  You must wholly satisfy yourself as to the suitability of the property booked.
8. No alternative prize is offered.
9. If you have to cancel your holiday for any reason, you are bound by the terms and conditions of the property owner with whom you have booked and The Real Visitors Book will not provide any form of compensation.  You are therefore strongly advised to insure against cancellation.
10. Break must be taken by 31st December 2011
