Church Farm Stables is a very special cottage in an idyllic setting. The rooms were a pleasure to stay in, bright and decorated in a soothing elegant style typical of good English decor. Two lovely bedrooms, a charming sitting and dining area, super kitchen with modern appliances, and two pretty bathrooms. The setting was a tonic. Sheep grazed on the hillside close by our windows, the ancient village church bell tolled the hours softly. There are many beautiful villages dotted all around for walking and exploring. Cerne Abbas is just a few minutes by car.

Local Gems:
|
|
So many good places - The Gaggle of Geese pub right in the village, Abbotts Tearoom in Cerne Abbas, the European in Piddletrenthide, ancient architecture, elegant shops and eateries in Sherborne. All very close.

We travelled from Canada on an extended holiday. From Derbyshire we stopped in Tewksbury and loved the excellent museum. Our kids didn’t want to leave. The Crumpets Tearoom on Water Street is cosy with good food and service.

Please note that whilst we do not have a mobility rating, we do have a ramp at the front of the property which is good for wheelchair users or those using walking sticks. Plugs are higher and light switches lower, for ease of use. Please contact us to discuss any particular mobility issues you have. We are now taking a break - November 08 to April 09 - but if you would like to find out more about booking Church Farm Stables or our B&B at Church Farm please do not hesitate to visit our website www.staydorset.co.uk
