Accurately Described? Yes Original advert many years ago said dogs were more than welcome. Our dogs have been made very welcome on each visit.

Exceed Expectations? Yes The help and advice from Jackie and John makes the holiday. We have found many lovely walks and good eating places which we would never have discovered on our own.

Review:

The cottage will sleep 6 adults with an extra room for small children. It has a garden that is secure and perfect for the dogs. There is a small wood with secure fencing that is available for use at certain times of the day that our dogs love, especially the ponds. The views from the cottage are woods and fields. The patio area has bird feeders which encourage a wide selection of birds to the garden, many sunny hours are lost with a cool drink just watching the birds.

The kitchen is well stocked with a variety of pots, pans, glasses, plates etc. The bedrooms all have heated blankets and storage heaters with good storage for clothes etc. The lounge-diner has comfortable sofas and a table that easily sits 6 for dinner. Sky TV is available, as is a DVD and video. There are two other properties - one that sleeps 4 people and one that sleeps 2 people.

Specifically Recommend: The cottage is always well presented and dogs are VERY welcome - the more the merrier. Many local walks from the cottage so no need to drive anywhere, with a good pub within easy walking distance.
Be Aware: This is a very popular holiday cottage so advance booking is usually needed.
Could Provide: Nothing - everything we need is available.

We are delighted that our guests have awarded us so many 5 stars in their reviews, and were really glad they enjoyed their holidays so much, but potential visitors please be aware that all 3 properties at Greenbank are in fact 4-star rated in the offical Visit Britain scheme. We would hate anyone to arrive and be disappointed!

We do PARTICULARLY welcome dogs - the more the merrier! For full details of all our accommodation please visit our web site here
