Review:

Although the Tudor Lodge is Grade II listed, it has been restored so beautifully that it makes for a very comfortable 21st-century stay.

The interior is full of so much attention to detail you don’t know where to look, from the hand-forged window clasps to the clothes’ rails in the bedrooms.

And the outside space is a bonus - a beautiful lawned area with a lovely flowering border, along with a herb garden. And very close proximity to the village pub!

Specifically Recommend: Just staying there!
Be Aware: Very steep stairs to the second bedroom, although not a problem for us, and sound travels - again, not a problem for us, but it could make or break friendships!
Could Provide: Nothing! Except maybe more information locally, best places to get groceries, local pubs, delis etc

Rate:
Overall comfort Quality of any meals provided
Cleanliness Useful information
Kitchen/cooking facilities Quality of items provided
Bathroom facilities Additional facilities

Local Gems:
Hunters Moon pub (but only had a drink there), Plas Derwen, No 18 at Crickhowell, Waitrose at Abergavenny!

En Route:
Travelling from Bristol to Abergavenny, stopped in Usk.

Sum It Up: The perfect place to spend a birthday weekend with family!
