The Lodge was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Even though we didn’t have good weather, there was always something provided by the owners to keep us occupied inside the lodge. Some great views surrounded the park and it was central to most local attractions.

I would recommend the lodge to family and friends who want to get away and relax and take in the scenery.

Be Aware:
|
The park is slightly out of range of local pubs, so it may not suit everyone. We found the gas oven was very slow when cooking.

"Thanks K.L. for the kind comments - glad you had a lovely time! I would like to mention that we do have 2 fantastic pubs - the Mortal Man and the Queen’s Head both within 10 minutes’ walk. I will put a note in our arrival instructions regarding the need to adjust oven temperatures upwards - it does seem to be a common issue with LPG ovens I’m afraid" JH - Owner
