While we were staying at Simonscales I read the reports in the visitors book situated in the accommodation and the reports from other visitors were excellent! People visiting this accommodation seem to return year after year.

Review:

We stayed in a log cabin which was situated beside the River Cocker with a lovely view out of all the windows. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and there was more than ample space for the 4 of us. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you are likely to need on holiday and if there was something missing I am sure Sue and Eric would have been able to get it for you as they live on site and are very friendly and helpful. We were greeted by the owners on the day we arrived and were shown around. The boys loved the river and seeing all the animals that live around the holiday home. If you are looking for a tranquil, laid-back holiday then this is the perfect place for you.

Specifically Recommend:
|
Sue and Eric have made the accommodation wheelchair-friendly and although we did not have anyone in a wheelchair in our party, there were some in the Holiday Cottage and they were more than happy with the accommodation. Sue explained that having run the Holiday Cottage for sometime now she is able to accommodate people’s needs by speaking to them before they book to recommend which unit they are best staying in.
