Our aim is simple:
To help you find somewhere GREAT to stay in Britain
 
The Real Visitors’ Book is a family-inspired and run website involving three generations who, collectively, have enjoyed holidaying in Great Britain for almost 250 years!
Like you, we’ve discovered some real gems over the years - wonderful places to stay, whether on our own or accompanied by children, ageing relatives, or our pets.
We’ve found super places to eat and drink, to shop, to ride, to fish, to walk or just stop and stare.  All of these places deserve revealing, in the hope that others might enjoy them too.
Of course, occasionally we’ve got it wrong either because we’ve had over optimistic expectations, or we’ve simply misinterpreted the information in the brochure.  (Classically, the ‘walled garden’ which was an 18” wall around a bit of lawn!).
If like us, you spend hours poring over beautiful glossy brochures or trawling the internet in your quest for the perfect holiday venue, wouldn’t it be great if you could hear from someone who has actually been there and recommends it? 
Well, hopefully now you can.
